Phil Webster

Headteacher, New Bradwell School

Phil is in his 6th year as Head of New Bradwell School.  New Bradwell is a school with over 100 years of history and Phil has been the head since 2008. It is an all through primary, from Foundation  to year 6. Its catchment area includes some pockets of deprivation that are above the national averages but continues to achieve strong results with its children.  The school also has a children’s centre and Acorn Day Care providers on site.

Phil’s first Ofsted was after four weeks in the job and the school maintained its satisfactory grading. The next visit was in May 2012 where the school was graded as outstanding in all areas.  The school has gone from strength to strength and in September 2015 becomes a three form entry school with eventually over 650 children.

He has also been involved in leadership for the past 12 years,  including helping to open a new school in Milton Keynes. As an LLE, he has also supported a number of schools in the locality.
