Lesley is Professional Tutor at Denbigh School with responsibility for ITT and Newly Qualified Teachers.

In this role, she has supported and coached trainees, new teachers and their mentors across the school. She has facilitated a comprehensive training programme for new teachers and established a network of experienced mentors. The role has enabled Lesley to work alongside colleagues from all subjects, levels of experience and expertise.

 

Lesley is an experienced teacher of MFL, specialising in German, French and Russian. Languages are a core subject at KS4 at Denbigh School with significant numbers for A level languages. Lesley was previously Head of Languages for ten years; she supported the team to promote language learning and cultural awareness, including annual exchanges and work experience placements abroad.

 

She leads the Milton Keynes Secondary MFL Subject Leaders network meetings to support subject leaders in the local area.
