Helen is currently Assistant Headteacher at Denbigh School with responsibility for Teaching School. As part of this role, she facilitates the Outstanding Teacher Programme, supporting “good” teachers in developing their practice to achieve “outstanding”. She also leads the CPD, School to School support and Research and Development strands of the Teaching School remit. Previously, Helen was Head of the English and Media faculty for nine years, leading the faculty in significantly improving examination results at KS4 and 5. Recently, she has established and leads the Milton Keynes Secondary English network meetings to support department leaders across the local area.
