Gareth is currently Assistant Headteacher at Shenley Brook End School, previously, he was Director of Maths at Shenley Brook End School and Head of Maths at Bishop Stopford School - two very successful schools. He is the Maths Lead for the local Maths Hub. Gareth has been involved in maths support for other schools through the Leadership and Training Centre, based at Shenley Brook End School.

 

Gareth has shared his expertise of leading maths improvement through various national forums, such as, Whole Education, the SSAT and NCETM.  He is motivated by developing maths leadership potential which focuses on building the capacity of teachers to deliver powerful teaching and learning which leads to increased student attainment.
