Chris Holmwood is Senior Deputy Headteacher at Shenley Brook End School and Principal of the School’s Leadership and Training Centre which has a responsibility within the Teaching School Alliance for Leadership Development.  Chris has experience as Acting Headteacher and Associate Headteacher. 

 

Passionate about leadership development and its impact upon high quality teaching and learning, school improvement and student attainment, Chris has been a trained Consultant Leader since 2004 and is an accredited facilitator on National College programmes.  He has led training nationally for a number of providers and undertaken leadership consultancy work at local and regional and national level.  His present Teaching School focus is very much upon delivering  Middle and Senior Leader Programmes  and  supporting successful leadership development as a coherent contribution to wider school improvement,  succession planning and talent management.
